Buying a Condo!

That's right.. I'm finally growing up and am going to be a homeowner. This week, I put in an offer on a condo (some people call it a townhouse) on the Far North-Side of Indianapolis. As it turns out, the seller has already closed on her new place, so she's ready to vacate ASAP. Closing is set for 10/22. I'm sooooo excited!

My Real Estate agent is "OUTSTANDING". Condo has two bedrooms, living room, dining room, 1 and 1/2 baths, garage, and some really cool neighbors (Both Julie and Jen own condo's in the area).

This weekend, I'll start packing in preparation for the big move!!!

Beautiful Bouquet of Flowers

Imagine my surprise at coming home after a long day of work, and finding a beautiful bouquet of flowers on my front porch. As I pulled into my parking spot, I immediately began to wonder who they could be from. You see, there are a couple of guys in my life, and we're just friends. I began to ponder....

As I walked to my door, I could see that they were roses, and I couldn't wait to get inside (set down the boxes I was carrying in) and reveal my secret admirer. Just as I opened the door, Bogie decided to perform an outstanding version of the 100 meter dash. I quickly dropped my moving boxes and chased after him.

With Bogie "captured" and the moving boxes finally inside the house, I returned to the porch for the flowers. As I gently pulled open the paper, the inevitable happened... they were addressed to "Julie" my neighbor.

My Day as a Cat..

Ahhh.. the joys of a lazy sunday afternoon. I met a few friends for breakfast earlier today, and after that, I settled back into bed for a day of lounging and watching football. Only problem is, since I'm getting ready to move, I don't exactly have much food in the house.. and I'm getting a little hungry. Guess I'll have to run out for a few ;-)
