Are Membership Clubs Out of Date?
Last night, I was watching the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry might join the Friars Club. I'm curious if you or anyone you know is a member of an organization that requires a membership or sponsorship application process, and what benefit is gained from joining?
Disclaimer...I'm not currently a member of any club that limits membership nor do I have any issue with anyone who is or isn't. You should know my motto by now...."To Each His/Her Own".
Now, in your best Seinfeld voice, please answer this question.. "What's the deal with these clubs"?

Lori - You were in a sorority in college, so technically you have been in a club. ;-)

I'd never be part of a club that would accept a person like me.

1. You're right, I was in a sorority in college. It was certainly "the thing" to do when I was in college. I enjoyed being in the sorority.
2. I wish I knew who you were, because it sounds like you need a shoulder to lean on. Since I don't know who you are, I'll just offer this.. Try not to take it all so seriously.... It doesn't matter as long as we're having fun!
