Working in Downtown Indy
Earlier this week, I started my new job at a company in downtown Indianapolis. This is the first time I've worked downtown. As it turns out, working downtown is pretty cool. So far I've learned...
*Illinois street runs North and turns into a two way road after you're out of downtown.
*Buy extra umbrellas - Keep one at your desk, one in the car, one in your briefcase.
*Local TV camera crews are often out looking for people to interview.
I'll post more as I get acquainted with downtown Indy. :-) Let me know if you have any advice on working downtown...

I'm lucky. The company I work for has its own parking, so I do not have to pay to park. I'm also lucky that the lot isn't too far away. I only have a block to walk to get to my building.

WALK FASTER. I'm noticing that I get passed by other walkers. Guess I'm used to strolling along, while they are heads-down focused on getting there fast.
