Bogie Cats Trip to the Vet
In typical Bogie fashion, when it was time to get in the cat carrier, he hid under the dining room table. I managed to catch him, get him in the carrier, and loaded in the car in less than 15 minutes.
On the drive there, he made the saddest meowing sound. I always feel so bad when taking him to the vet, but this time he really needed to go as he has some type of cut/scar/scab on his face. The vet gave him some antibiotic ointment, and is doing some tests to rule out any type of fungus, bacteria, or skin-cancer (Bogie is white and gold and apparently, skin-cancer is common in light colored kitties)
I've got my fingers crossed and am saying a little prayer that it's just an infected cut and the antibiotics will do the trick. I'll keep you posted.... >^..^<

Good News... It looks like the antibiotic is starting to work, as it doesn't look as bad. I really hope it's just an infection and nothing more serious. Hang in there Bogie Kitty...

Bogie cat is one sad kitty. The mark on his face is getting worse because he keeps scratching it open. Last night, I bought the dreaded E-Collar from Petsmart to put on him.
He's tolerating it... but I sure feel terrible for him. He looks so sad and keeps bumping into chairs and the wall. Hang in there Bogie Kitty!!!

Bogie cat is all better. He had to wear the e-collar for a couple extra weeks, but it's all healed up now. :-)
