Bogie's Wild Morning

Thursday mornings are trash pick-up in my neighborhood. After a few months at the new place I think Bogie has finally figured this out, because this morning, as I was preparing to take the trash to the curb, he made a great escape.

He ran thru the garage, and then ran across the front porch to the side porch, then back across the front porch. Next he went thru a neighbors yard, and into another neighbors side porch to hide under their grill. A quick run around the grill, and he was off to yet another neighbors side porch area. Luckily he paused for just a split second, and I was able to pounce on him.

Of course he struggled with me the entire way back to my place. What on earth is going on? He's an inside kitty! Maybe those squirrels are tormenting him during the day and he wants to "stake" his territory.

When the weather gets nicer, I'll get out his leash and we'll see about going for some walks. Until then, he's back inside, probably sound asleep by now.
