What jobs have you held?

Today I'll make a list, a list of all the jobs (that I can remember anyway). How many have you had?

I'm tagging Tara for starting this one. Check out her blog at http://sacredcraneyoga.blogspot.com

  • I did not see a way to post "non-blogger" comments on Tara's page so here is my response:

    1. Breakfast Bar/Dinner Bar cook at Azar's Big Boy. It was a fun high school job.

    2. Hostess at Azar's Big Boy. More money.

    3. Waitress at Azar's Big Boy. Definitely better money and lots more fun!

    4. Sports Information Assistant. This was my part-time job during college on campus. This was probably the best job I could have hoped for at school.

    5. Copy girl for publication department at Computer Services - summer job before and after my freshman year of college.

    6. WORST JOB EVER - I worked at a grocery warehouse for about two weeks going through the warehouse and replacing the stickers on the shelves the forklift had peeled off - worst part: someone was following behind me and pulling off the stickers and painting the numbers on. UGH!

    7. Landscaper - I stayed on campus for the summer after my sophomore year and did landscaping at the college. Only summer I have ever had a tan!

    8. Accounting/HR Gopher - I cannot even remember the name of this company. I worked there for about 3-4 weeks the summer before my senior year of college.

    9. Accounting Gopher - Electronic Liquid Fillers (ELF). This was supposed to be a one-week temp job while the high school girl who had the summer job went to her last 4H at the fair. Of course, they fired her at the end of the week and kept me the remainder of the summer.

    10. Secretary - ELF. I went back to ELF after I graduated and worked as a secretary to six salesmen for a year.

    11. Legal Assistant - started working for lawyers in 1994 and just recently left.

    12. Sales Associate at Lane Bryant. This I did for the discount (40%!)

    13. IT Assistant - current job since March 2006. A little boring, sometimes interesting, not sure this is long-term.

Keep in mind that this does not include all the part-time jobs I picked up from time to time when I needed a little extra cash - too many to even remember.
