Every once in a while, I do something stupid, that I end up feeling terrible about. So, here's my chance to apologize, admit my faults, and work toward being a better person.
9/30/06 I must take a moment to apologize to the patrons of my neighborhood library. Sometimes, I'm just not paying attention to what goes on around me. :-)
You see, Friday I had the day off from work, and was out running errands, one of which was to pick up some books I had on hold. After collecting my books from the hold area, I turned to my left and started using the self-checkout computer. It was only after I scanned my books and turned to leave that I noticed a zig-zag line of people waiting their turn for the self-scans.
12/9/06 I must take a moment to apologize to the staff at the Walgreens near my place. You see, I picked up a nasty stomach flu and left work early. I desperately needed some 7up, crackers, pepto, etc. On my way to the back of the store, I quickly passed a clerk who cheerfully greeted me, and asked "How are you today?"... I mumbled some explectives and that I was feeling *&%%$$ miserable. Sure, I can chuckle about this today, since I can finally eat something besides broth. Again... sorry...
