Woo Hoo.. Snow for my Birthday!

I'm happy to report that the forecasted Winter Storm Warning arrived just in time for my Birthday. I woke up this morning to a "Winter Wonderland".

The condo association plowed the main thru street, and my car, which was snow-free thanks to my garage, tracked right thru the snow.

A few slips and slides on the way to work, but nothing my car couldn't handle.

Yeah Baby.. I've got Ice!!

I'm happy to report that my month long quest to have an automatic ice-maker installed is complete. For a while, I didn't think my plan would work... I had to have a water line installed. Then I had to special order the ice maker, as no local establishments carried the exact model I needed. Finally, yesterday, a friendly gentleman came out for the service-call to install the ice-maker.

As I type, I'm enjoying a lovely glass of diet-coke filled with ice. Ahhh..just one of the many joys of being a homeowner. :-)

Woo Hoo - 2 Vacation Days

I am so ever happy to report that my boss has approved two vacation days (12/9 & 12/10). As you know, we've been working long and hard to get projects done, so I was a little surprised that my vacation request was approved.

Woo hoo.. I'm in the holiday spirit!!

Old Navy Commercials

As you might know, I love my Replay TV DVR. It allows me to record television programs and then watch them whenever I have some free time. One really cool feature is the commerical skip, which allows me to quickly advance thru commercials. HOWEVER, there is one set of commercials that I don't "fast-forward" thru, and they are the Old Navy Carolers. I absolutely crack up at these commercials, and wind up singing the tune all day at work.

While they certainly can't replace my favorite commercial, the EDS Cat Hearder Commercial, they do put me in a festive holiday mood.
