Bogie Cats Trip to the Vet

In typical Bogie fashion, when it was time to get in the cat carrier, he hid under the dining room table. I managed to catch him, get him in the carrier, and loaded in the car in less than 15 minutes.

On the drive there, he made the saddest meowing sound. I always feel so bad when taking him to the vet, but this time he really needed to go as he has some type of cut/scar/scab on his face. The vet gave him some antibiotic ointment, and is doing some tests to rule out any type of fungus, bacteria, or skin-cancer (Bogie is white and gold and apparently, skin-cancer is common in light colored kitties)

I've got my fingers crossed and am saying a little prayer that it's just an infected cut and the antibiotics will do the trick. I'll keep you posted.... >^..^<

Working in Downtown Indy

Earlier this week, I started my new job at a company in downtown Indianapolis. This is the first time I've worked downtown. As it turns out, working downtown is pretty cool. So far I've learned...

*Illinois street runs North and turns into a two way road after you're out of downtown.
*Buy extra umbrellas - Keep one at your desk, one in the car, one in your briefcase.
*Local TV camera crews are often out looking for people to interview.

I'll post more as I get acquainted with downtown Indy. :-) Let me know if you have any advice on working downtown...
